Disruptive Technology and Innovation within Asset Management

The Ocean Partnership are running an upcoming event in collaboration with PwC to explore the opportunies and challenges that disruptive technology and innovation present the Asset Management industry.

The event, that will be broken down into a number of different sessions will aim to give attendee’s a fantastic overview of the technologies that are already having a significant effect on the Asset Management industry and how this is set to continue to develop and change;

The below is the provisional agenda for this session;

08.35am: Part 1; Artificial Intelligence & Blockchain – David Maloney, innovation director, PwC

  1. How AI and blockchain might specifically affect this sector
  2. AWMs are known to be quite insular -- can we give an industry wide view
  3. One type of non-technological disruption is sustainable investing / ESG
  4. One of the requirements in adapting to disruption is a new talent model (Ocean)
  5. The workforce of the future and the worlds of 2030
